2016 UTEP JROTC Fall Invitational 3 Position Air Rifle Tournament
1st Place Team Trophy. Timothy Santana 2nd Place Overall, 1st Place Kneeling and 3rd in Standing. Spencer McFaul 3rd Place Overall and 2nd Place in Prone.
  • NMMI Drill Meet
    The Deming Wildcat Battalion attended the NMMI Drill meet in Roswell NM the past Saturday October 29 where they brought home trophies and awards. The Male Physical Training Team won 3rd place and Cadet Spencer McFaul was awarded the first place in sit ups. The Rifle Team won 2nd where Cadet Isaac Palomarez was awarded third in the Prone position, Cadet Spencer McFaul was awarded 1st place in the Kneeling position, Cadet Timothy Santana was awarded 1st place in the Standing position and Cadet Spencer McFaul was awarded 3rd place. Overall, Cadet McFaul was awarded 1st place and Cadet Santana was awarded 2nd place. The mixed Color Guard team won 1st place in Inspection, 3rd place for Commander Cadet Ciarra Sanner, and 3rd place overall.

    In partnership with the United Blood Services, JROTC hosted a Blood drive on Tuesday Oct. 18 at the main campus gymnasium. The Blood drive started at 8:00 am and the last appointment was held at 12:40 pm. Every donor had to be 16 years or older and all of them required a donor release form signed by their parent or guardian. JROTC would like to thank all of the students and staff who decided to donate blood that will save someone's life.
