District Resources
Support Services
The Department of Support Services and Community Resources under Mary Lou Cameron, Associate Superintendent of Support Services and Community Resources, and assisted by department administrative assistant Leticia Montez, is responsible for leading the effort to align the district’s learning systems at all levels and connecting those efforts with city, county, state and federal resources.
Participating in community activities, networking with the NM Public Education Department, attending legislative meetings, and continuing relationships with federal policy makers ensure that DPS is at the forefront of decisions made impacting its work.

Our Mission Statement: We, the Human Resources Department focus on customer service and customer relations to Deming Public School students and Deming Public School employees as well as the community. Our goal is to strive daily to assure someone is always available in the department responding in a timely manner. We want to be a friendly face and a friendly voice to those seeking our assistance. We work to provide accurate answers and referrals to the person who can provide the answers and solutions to inquiries. We work to be respectful at all times. |
Purpose: The Human Resources Department's primary purpose is to provide the district with the most qualified staff that will positively affect the learning outcomes for students. Our departments goals are: -To assure there is a highly qualified teacher in every classroom. -To assure there is qualified staff in every area to produce a successful school district.
Instructional Services
The Department of Instructional Services provides instructional support in all curriculum areas throughout the district as well as supports STARS reporting to the Public Education Department.
